“To express a company’s existence, we can simply say that risk management is its’ DNA because it allows the company to maintain, develop its value and especially achieve its goals.” It is in these terms that Mr. ADEBAYO AJEWOLE regularly concluded most of his meetings with the Internal Audit and Control Department.

 

Through his guidance, this tireless artisan was the main cornerstone on which the Internal Audit and Control Department relied to carry out its missions.

Under his leadership, the Union Camerounaise de Brasseries (UCB) obtained the ISO 9001-2015 certification on January 09, 2020. His high sense of organization and his availability to accompany us in the overhaul of our risk management was invaluable. In the aftermath of the certification, his vision based on a “risk approach” is the determining factor that allowed our Department to be more at the center of the processes, proof of his expertise.

 

The departure of Mr. AJEWOLE ADEBAYO is a huge loss and we will miss his overall objectivity and rigor. In view of the immeasurable work he contributed in over a decade as Managing Director, we will spare no effort to stay the course on the path that he paved during his time with our company.
